Take Me Out to the Ballgame

Thanks to Jenn’s employer, Accenture, Jennifer and I went to the Sox game Friday night for Jason Bay’s first game as a member of The Olde Town Team. It was a defensive battle that lasted into the 12th inning before the 1-1 tie was broken. The won after a 2 out triple by Jason Bay and an infield single by Jed Lowrie brought him home.

But the really impressive part was the fan reaction to Jason Bay who just took the place of Manny Ramirez. A standing ovation for each of his six at bats. Sox fans get so into the game that you really can’t help but become a fan.

Once again, Fenway didn’t disappoint. Thanks Accenture. Now if they could just get that stock price up…
